I am the drama and theatre teacher at Woodbridge Middle School. I have taught drama to grades kindergarten through high school. In my lifetime of working with students, I have produced and directed many plays and musicals including: You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, Annie, Les Miserables, Sweeney Todd, Chicago, A Year with Frog And Toad.

When not working at school, I write novels for middle grade and young adult, getting in shape, and seeing many plays and movies.  I am very interested in starting a theatre camp in the school district.

Do you love improvisational theatre? Check out the useful links page. There is a link called improv encylcopedia, which has many games you can play with your family or even a small group of friends. I will also include videos of people playing other improv games.

How about creating your own monologue? On my files and document page, I include a step by step process on how to create a character and write a one to two minute speech for them. Additionally, on the links page you can find a link to other students who have written monologues as well. You may even want to memorize and videotape yourself doing a monologue to put on your class team pages.

Maybe it is time to adapt one of your favorite books into scenes or even a play.

Want to learn more about acting terms or the many jobs you can find in the theatre, again check out the files and documents page.
