May is Mental Health Awareness Month and we are here for you!

Today, I am posting the first PDF for Mental Health Monday in the files section on here and in Teams (under folder "mental health awareness month". Please take a look and send your counselor any questions you may have.

For this week's Physical Education assignment, please use your chart from last week. There are a number of choices you can complete to fill in your fitness requirements. If you aren't posting every day, please make sure you are sending me your fitness logs

This week's assignments have been added to the files section along with health articles, which are now included on your choice board of daily activities. Please remember to continue posting your daily activities on the Teams daily threads or submitting your fitness log to me by email. Welcome to week 2!

Now that you know how your Virtual Schoolhouse Schedule works, hopefully, you will be running on all cylinders this week. We are adding a few more ideas for you to try to incorporate into your weekly routine. Remember, you should be getting 15-20 minutes of physical activity every day. Please post on the daily thread in teams what you did for the day and if you can, post a picture of you doing your activity. You may also send your activity via chat or email. If for some reason you cannot post each day, remember to fill out your fitness log and send it in at the end of the week.

If you would like to improve your 3rd 9-weeks grade, please make sure you reach out to make sure you are on the right track to achieve that goal. Please see the "Files" section on here or in Teams for this weeks activities (titled "PE week of 4 20").

Hi Everyone, welcome to my page. As you read this, I want you to know that I am thinking about you and miss all of you! Please know that I am here for you!
Check-in here and on Microsoft Teams as often as possible as I will be posting different health and fitness activities for you to do at home with your family. Staying active can help reduce stress, reduce anxiety and build your immune system.  Again, I am here for you so please do not
hesitate to contact me. Be safe! And go wash your hands!


Under Files and Documents, I have included a 2-week fitness log for you to start recording your activity each week. Obviously, the more activity you do the better, however, to ease any stress associated with virtual learning that you may have, you can try to aim for 3 days a week for around 30 minutes each day. I will add different activities throughout the week for you to try, so keep checking in.

The fitness log is not graded at this time. It is just a way for you to start recording and seeing how much activity you are doing now and give you an idea if you should increase the time you are being physically active.
