The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is always open to new members.
The PTO is scheduled to meet on the following dates at 5:45 p.m. in the WMS Library.
Quarter 1 – Sept. 26 (PTO Nominations)
Quarter 2- Nov. 14th
Quarter 3 – Feb. 13th
Quarter 4 – May 14th
In the past, the PTO has been involved with traditions like the Chili Cook-Off and the End-of-the-Year Fun Day, which is a schoolwide celebration of completing the SOLs.
The PTO works with the school to ensure a high-quality education for all students. Our goals are to:
- Promote a sense of community spirit
- Provide an avenue to share information on school-related issues
- Provide financial support for school needs, activities, and programs
All are welcome to join and be an active participant in events and issues directly affecting our children.
We strongly encourage all WMS families and faculty members to join the PTO. Membership dues are used to support numerous programs at WMS during the school year. Dues are only $10. PTO meetings are held throughout the year, and members are encouraged to attend and vote on PTO business. Our programs that support our students are possible only with the support of volunteers.
